PROV's Delegation Program

PROV receives many delegations of people who are interested in PROV and its record management programs. PROV has a program to help interstate and international organisations wanting to visit.

The delegation program is designed to give visitors an overview of PROV and its many activities within the records management sector through a series of presentations and discussions with members of staff. Topics included are:

  • An overview of PROV and its mandates, vision and objectives
  • The Victorian Electronic Records Strategy (VERS)
  • Facilitating the adoption of VERS within the Victorian Public Sector through Route Maps and Departmental Assessments
  • An introduction to the technology used by PROV in delivering its services online
  • Initiatives and activities used to assist Victorian Agencies in improving their records management practices and meeting legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Consultancy Services provided to Victoria’s Inner Departments by PROV
  • The many services provided to public and government users for access to and understanding of PROV’s collection.

If your organisation is interested in sending a delegation to PROV and would like to be included in the delegation program, simply fill out the expression of interest form and fax it back to us on +61 3 9348 5656.
*We require at least 2 months notification of your intended visit to PROV

Please note: Due to the high demand and resources employed to support this program, only a limited number of delegations will be approved to visit. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact Andrea Rae.

If you are from a Victorian government agency or the general public and are interested in learning more about PROV, please contact reception on 9348 5600.
