Standards, Specifications and Advice on Records Management

PROV has developed a comprehensive Standards and Specifications regime that allows records managers to identify the key requirements for good recordkeeping and how to measure the effectiveness of recordkeeping systems implementation. Advice is available on a wide range of issues of high impact for records users and managers, including imaging of records, information privacy and electronic records.

Victorian Electronic Records Strategy

Of particular interest for the management of electronic records is the VERS (Victorian Electronic Records Strategy) Standard version 2 and its associated advice.

VERS is a framework of standards, guidance, training, consultancy and implementation projects, which is centred around the goal of reliably and authentically archiving electronic records.
