I am instructed by the Council of the
Victorian Branch of the British Medical
Association to forward to you the following
Resolution which was carried unanimously
at a meeting held in the 11th inst:-
Moved by Dr James Edward Neild
Seconded by Dr Andrew Shields
"That the Council of the Victorian Branch
of the British Medical Association beg to
bring under the notice of the Honourable the
Attorney-General the importance in
the interests of Science of having a proper
examination made of the brain of the Convict
Deeming alias Williams, and, as some
doubts exists as to the procedure which is to be
adopted in his case, to ask that steps be
taken to have such examination made."
