This is the Last Will and Testament
of me Frederick Bailey Deeming.

Known here as Albert Oliver Williams.
Also Known as Baron Swanston.

Made on this Eighteenth day of May.
In the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and ninty [sic] two.

I give and bequeath to My Dear Brother
Edward Deeming of London one 18ct Gold
curb Albert watch chain, and three Gold
coins attached to the same, and I appoint
Marshall Lyle My Solicitor to address and post
the same to him.

I give and Bequeath to Robert Garn of
Millers Point Sydney one leather Bound Photo Album
also one [crossed out: calander] calendar Watch in red Morocco case
I give and bequeath to Mr J Shegog Governour [sic]
of the Gaol, one Sliver [sic] Spirit Flask marked FBD
I give and to William Mercer, Warder, one pair
of Gold Sleave links and two Gold studs now
in the Gaol,

I give and bequeath to Thomas B Longbottom
Warder, one silver Match Box marked B.S.
I give and bequeath to John H Turner Warder
one Blue cloth over coat now in the Gaol.
I give and bequeath to George Taylor, Warder
one silver Pen holder now in the gaol,

I give and bequeath to Kate Rounsefell,
my will made on the Ninth day of May 1892
in return of her [crossed out: her] kindness to me, and
as a token of the lies she told in court.
I give and bequeath to Marshall Lyle
all my Property now in the hands of the
Melbourne Police, and also what is in the gaol
except what is mentioned in this my Will.
I also give Devise and bequeath to the said
Marshall Lyle, all right, Title, or interest

to any Landed or personal property all money
jewelery or any discription [sic]of property or interest
except what is mentioned in this my Will.
I Give, Devise, and Bequeath to Mr J Shegog
the Governor of Melbourne Gaol in return
for his extream [sic] kindness to me, while in his
charge, one peace [sic]of Land 52 x 150 feet,
Block No 26. in section 14 in the Town of
Lismore, Border of New South Wales and
Queensland, the deeds of which are Banked
with the joint Stock Banking Company of
Sydney,

and I Give Devise and Bequeath to Marshall Lyle
one Block of Land No 27. in the same section,
the deeds beining [sic] plased [sic] as above,

I also Give and Bequeath to the said Marshall -
Lyle, all writings written by me while in
the Melbourne Gaol, in any way pertaining
to my Biogarphy [sic] also poetry, and all letters
left [crossed out: my] by me including three letters written by
Kate Rounsefell also including paper of instru
ction with Drawing to enable him to secure
Money buried in Lamu East Africa, the money
to be disposed as stated in instructions, with the
exception of what is Mentioned for Kate Rounsefell
and that part to go to Marshall Lyle and nothing
to the said Kate Rounsefell,

I also give and bequeath to Marshall Lyle,
for publication the last statement written by
me before my Death and not one word to be
kept from the press,

I Give and bequeath to Mr H Scott, Gaol Chaplain
one larg [sic] Bible now in the Keeping of Mr Shegog
I Give and bequeath to John H Turner, Warder
one Gold Sovering [sic] purse marked F. B. D now with the
Police,

I give and bequeath to Maria Pickering of
Rainhill England one silver sandwish [sic] Box
Marked Emily on lid, also all Ladys clothing
found with my efects [sic] including the Box and its
contance [sic] found at Barnsdale Station,

I give and bequeath to Mrs Robert Garn, of
Millers Point Sydney, one Boat Shaped Diamond
Ring now in the hands of the Police,

I hereby declair [sic] that the only debts owed by me
ars [sic] as followse, [sic] Mrs Snell of Snells Hotel £2-0-0
Southern Cross Western Australia, and the sum
of 8/- eight Shillings to Mr Mandleson Store
Keeper, and these two accounts I aske [sic]
Marshall Lyle to pay.

And as I have now compleated [sic] my last Will
and Testament I appoint Mr H Scott, Chaplain
as executer [sic] for the safe carrying out of the same
and I appoint Marshall Lyle to be Solicitor for
the same,

and it is my last desire that every word of
of [sic] the contence [sic] of my Will be published in
the Melbourne papers, and for the executers [sic]
word that such should be done he hereto
subribes [sic] his Name

being present at the same
time, who at his request
in his presents [sic] and in

as attesting Witnesses.
