Sir
I had not left the
neighbourhood of London
when the murders were
committed & the circum-
stances in Williams's Case
strike me that he is the
author of both of that here
& those in England, at
any rate his portrait when
taken should be immediately
sent to London & so certain
do I feel in my mind about it
that I anticipate an im-
mediate recognition of him

The very least that could be
done should be to give the
people of England the chance

x Very likely, considering no one alleges that he ever saw "Jack".

of discovery if possible

I can see very good
reasons why the murder
at Windsor did not assume
the form of the London ones
there was no necessity.

Still I am of opinion however
others may disagree, that
he is [crossed out: the] Jack the ripper &
so you will find it to be

Yours respectfully
Henry Boardman
