Sir,
There is a simple plan by
which, if 'Deeming' has another fit,
any good doctor may be enabled
to swear whether it be genuine or not.
Let his attendant always have a
piece of soap ready in his pocket, and
specially in cars & or on other journeys.
If this be gently rubbed on the naked
eye, during struggles, the question is
settled. If the eye is violently
screwed up, the fits are sham. If
not, they are genuine. Yrs truly
James Struthers

I am keeping
this to myself
& yourself.
