Sir
Referring to my letter of the 2nd Instant
acknowledging the receipt of a letter
from the Proprietors of Stock in the
Western District of Port Phillip, I am
now directed by the Governor to
inform you, that His Excellency having
taken into consideration the application
it contains, has been pleased to appoint
Captain Foster Fyans to be Police Magistrate Foster is correct first name
at Geelong. Captain Fyans proceeds
by the James Watt Steamer, and I have
the honor to transmit for your information
