Broken River 22nd June 1840

Sir-
I have to inform you what the Blacks
have being doing they first began at Mr.
Mackeys they fired at them and burnt
down a hutt afterwards looted the Place
of all the Clothing and 10 Pounds after
that they Kiled three Horses and one
Bollark after they whent to a Sheep station
and Murdered one of the Shepards this
was Mr. Mackeys

After they left Mr. Mackeys they whent
to Mr Whaughs Station and Kiled two men
and taken Five Hundred & twenty Sheep
which the Sheep have never been herd off
Since- I have being to all the Different
Stations the Hovins River & Brokin River
I have Ruturned to my Station I could not
