Sir
I have the honor to report the
arrival of my Party of Native Police at
this station after a march of fifteen
days from Melbourne-

On my way up I considered it advisible
to proceed to those stations north of
the Pyreenees where the Natives had lately
been troublesome, and from there I
attempted to get round Mount Zero
and on, to the Wimmera but I
found it impossible to do so owing
to the wet weather and the soft nature
