Blks who assistd in endeavg to recover
ye White Woman was done on ye
authy of my let of ye 14 July

The Chief Protector should I think
give the Port Phillip Blacks
(Lively & Co) who have assisted
in the search after the White
Woman a trifle to show that
their assistance and good will
are acknowledged by the Government.
