This series contains information regarding special case files created
by the Education Department. In particular, for case numbers 1-1149, you
can use this register to discover the registration numbers of documents
placed on the file.
There is an alphabetical index at the start of the register. You can use
this index to find files on schools, parties and subjects. The index will
provide you with a special case number, and the page number in the register
upon which a special case file's registration details are recorded.
Entries in the register are arranged by special case
number. For each special case file there is information regarding school
name(s), roll number(s) or the file title, the parties involved or the
subject of the special case, and the registration numbers of the correspondence
on the file.
You can use the special case number to order a special

Archives Centre Reading Room.
