For those faced with the (often daunting) task of getting recordkeeping
onto the agenda of induction programs, new starter activities, or even
just raising awareness of recordkeeping requirements of staff members,
PROV is pleased to offer Victorian agencies a tool for just such a
purpose.

The Good Records program has been created specifically with non-records
Management staff in mind. Its aim is to raise awareness of how simple
everyday recordkeeping practices make the business of doing business and
proving business was done both easier and faster. Good Records tells
people about their responsibilities to ensure they are accountable for the
work they do, without overwhelming them with the complexities of
modern-day recordkeeping.

Good Records comprises a series of PowerPoint slides accompanied by a
Presenter’s Guide and evaluation form. The Presenter’s Guide is filled
with tricks and tips that anyone delivering the program can use to
contextualise it to their own organisational environment, as well as
references to the materials used in the presentation itself, should the
presenter wish to cover them in greater depth.

Please click on the images below to see samples of the Good Records
PowerPoint presentation and presenters guide respectively.

The structure of Good Records is such that its delivery is incredibly
flexible. Should you have only 20 minutes of an audience’s time or half a
day to discuss recordkeeping at length, the one set of slides (and
presenter’s guide) is able to serve both purposes.

To obtain a copy of Good Records slides and presenter’s guide, simply
follow this link to the program’s distribution licence and submit your
application.
