Archival Supplies at PROV

Over the last several months PROV has undertaken a review of the arrangements in place for the sale and supply of archival boxes and consumables to government agencies.

PROV has now decided that as all of these boxes and consumables are available commercially, PROV will now cease selling these items of 1 July 2008.

All boxes and consumables can be currently purchased through;

PROV expects that in the future other commercial suppliers will also stock these items.

Arrangements can be made with Archival Survival for collection from their supply and distribution point in Brunswick, or they can arrange courier delivery at agency cost.

Archival Survival will supply you with a letter confirming the boxes meet PROV specifications for the storage of permanent records. This document will need to be provided to a PROV representative prior to the collection of boxes for transfer into PROV custody.

In the near future boxes supplied by Archival Survival will be printed with a statement that indicates that the box meets PROV standards for the storage of permanent records.
