VERS Standard
The structure and requirements of VERS are formally specified in the Standard for the Management of Electronic Records (PROS 99/007) and its five technical specifications. There are also six advices that describe aspect of VERS. The first version of the Standard was launched on 26 April 2000 by the Hon. John Brumby, MP, Minister for State and Regional Development. The revised version of the Standard was launched on 31 July 2003 by the Hon. John Thwaites, MP, Minister for Victorian Communities.
