This part indicates the derivation of the XML Document Type Definition (DTD). In the VERS Metadata Scheme. two derivations have been indicated: 'vers' for that part of the scheme which derives from the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy project and 'naa' for that part of the scheme which derives from the National Archives of Australia Recordkeeping Metadata Standard for Commonwealth Agencies.4
