instead.
The International Standard (ISO 639) list of
language codes should be used to determine the value of M41 Language. A list of these codes can be
found in ‘Codes for the Representation of Names of Languages – Part 2:
Alpha-3 Code’ available at http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/langhome.html
(visited 17 Jan 2003). Note that where a language has a two-letter and a
three-letter code, the two-letter code should be used in preference to the
three-letter code.
Note: the code for English is ‘en’.
