5.4.1 Hash algorithms
The only hash algorithms currently approved for use are:
which are all defined in the Secure Hash Standard [SHS].
5.4.2 Digital signature algorithms
The two digital signature algorithms approved for use are:
- RSASSA-PKCS1-v1_5 specified in the RSA Cryptography Standard [RSA].
- DSA specified in the Digital Signature Standard [DSS].
