Welcome to the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy Toolkit

Welcome to the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy's Online Toolkit. The Victorian Electronic Records Strategy, or VERS, has been developed by Public Record Office Victoria as the state of Victoria's world-leading solution to the challenges of long-term preservation of electronic records. The Public Record Office is the State's archives authority, constituted under the Public Records Act 1973.

This Toolkit has been designed to help those who find themselves dealing with the issues of recordkeeping and information management in the digital age. This site will help you:

explore the issues and understand the dimensions of the problem,
look at world solutions,
understand VERS and how it works, and
implement VERS within your organisation.
